The challenge
An established visual-content product needed its core editing workflows to evolve as AI capabilities matured — without disrupting what existing users relied on.
My contribution
I helped transform the product’s core processes into AI-driven workflows, including AI-assisted background replacement, and worked closely with engineering on feasibility, integration choices and quality.
Approach
Treat AI as a means, not the goal: start from the user’s editing task, assess what is technically feasible, test output quality carefully and introduce changes in a way users can trust.
What I learned
AI features succeed when quality control and user experience get as much attention as the model itself.
